Media Arts Action Project, or MAAP, serves to provide wider access to media arts education and resources throughout NYC’s low-income neighborhoods by partnering with public library systems, thus giving high school students of color the opportunity to develop professional skills that allow them to smoothly transition into degree-earning institutions, or directly enter the creative workforce.
